Survey

With the South Australian State Election less than eight weeks away, the SA Business Chamber has released its first Survey of Business Expectations for 2026 in partnership with William Buck, reinforcing the vital role business feedback plays in shaping policy advocacy ahead of the March poll.

Insights gathered through previous surveys have been instrumental in framing Charter26, the Chamber’s pre‑election policy platform. This document of proposed policy initiatives has already been presented to the Premier and his full cabinet, as well as the Opposition Leader and her key shadow ministers, ensuring business priorities are at the forefront of mind as the election approaches.

Advocating on behalf of South Australian businesses remains at the core of the Chamber’s purpose. Representing organisations of all sizes and sectors, the Chamber provides a strong collective voice for business — one that political leaders recognise and engage with, given its position as the largest business industry group in the state.

For many businesses, this survey represents their first opportunity to contribute in 2026, and importantly, their final chance to have their say before the election.

It will just take 10 – 15 minutes to complete the survey.
