In 2022, 17 deaths were caused by falls from a height across Australia according to Key Work Health and Safety Statistics Australia 2023. Understanding the causes of falls from a height, as well as the risks, and how to manage them, and the controls can ensure this number is decreased. 

Following a significant incident at Adelaide Brighton Cement’s Klein Point Limestone Mine, the company entered into an Enforceable Undertaking with regulatory authorities. As part of the undertaking, one of the key actions committed to was the development of working from height’ resources designed to support and assist other businesses in improving safety practices in similar high-risk environments.
