In a modern business world, most business owners are focused on digital transformation and optimisation, but Daniel Franco from Synergy IQ is ensuring the employees having to continuously adapt are the real heroes of this change.

Daniel Franco is the co-owner of Synergy IQ and he recently sat down with Tim Lavis on the ThirtyNiners Podcast to discuss how a sudden onset of change in his life, built the foundation of a digital transformation business embracing change.

My wife and I were building a new home, and my wife was pregnant and did not have a job at the time, and I decided it would be a great idea to start a business.”

Her response was; if you think you can do it, I trust you, I’ll back you. And just like that, she inspired the foundation of mentality of embracing change”.

In a post-COVID business environment, the landscape has drastically changed with rapid innovation and digital transformation – with most businesses clearly recognising organisational change is needed to survive, but just don’t know where to start.

Daniel knows this story far too well from his own experiences and has now created a company in Synergy IQ that assists organisations in digital transformation with a focus on ensuring the humans most affected by his change become their biggest advocates.

There’s so much change happening all the time, and we are passionate about the human side of that, which is how do we get people to adopt the change?

How do we help people make sense of what they’re about to embark on? The crucial thing we have learnt is if you take the time to help people make sense of the change, they’re more likely to take it on and be the organisations biggest champion”.

Embracing change is exactly what brought Daniel to the ThirtyNiners, a group of forward-thinking business leaders looking to make real change in regards to the attitudes towards South Australia as a business state.

Shout out to all the ThirtyNiners, they are a bunch of South Australians trying to change the way we are seen as a business state.

Just like me they don’t want us sitting as a backwater state, it doesn’t sit right with me (and them), why can’t we be the next Silicon Valley or whatever it might be?

I think we are all pretty passionate about making sure our state is ready for some change”.
