Business Plan Review Panel (from L to R: Daniel Navacchi, John Travers, Michael Tellis, Kristian Downing, Jason Boccaccio and Tim Lavis)

One of the many benefits for aspiring entrepreneurs or those who want to grow their business that participate in our Entrepreneur Programs is the access, support and guidance they get from our Program Mentors and the ability to have their Business Plans reviewed by a team of experts!

Participants from the South Australian Business Chamber’s Entrepreneur Program September 2023 intake are almost at the end of their program journey and have worked diligently to develop their own individual Business Plans.

Last week at the South Australian Business Chamber the excitement was palpable because our Program participants got to present their Business Plans and get feedback from a team of very passionate and talented Mentors.

Elisa Luck, General Manager of Programs & Consulting at the South Australian Business Chamber said We are very fortunate that we have a volunteer team of Mentors and Facilitators, work provide highly valuable support in undertaking reviews of Business Plans and much-needed feedback to our Program participants on their Plans’.

I don’t know of any other programs that provide mentoring sessions and workshops and enable participants to gain an understanding of business fundamentals and most importantly at Program completion, arm them with a comprehensive, fully formed business plan, ready to successfully launch or establish their business’ Luck said.

Our Mentors are dedicated with years of experience and are very passionate about giving back and supporting Program participants to develop business skills and confidence to bring their business concepts to life or to further develop their business’.

One of our program mentors and business plan reviewers on the night, Michael Tellis, had many wise words for our budding entrepreneurs including Starting a business is like doing your apprenticeship all over. Be patient, observe, listen to mentors, learn as you apply knowledge, experiment, and keep fine-tuning”.

Michael also encouraged participants with his advice that you can have the best plan in the world but if you don’t start you won’t have a business. Even starting small will give you valuable feedback to learn about being in business, and your customers and feedback helps you fine-tune your offering”.

The South Australian Business Chamber would like to extend a very big thank you to its Program Mentors and Business Plan Review Panel: Jodie Cole, Kristian Downing, Michael Tellis, Tim Lavis, Jason Boccaccio, Daniel Navacchi and John Travers.
