One of South Australia’s leading Entrepreneurs and a previous EY Australian Entrepreneur of the Year, Richard Turner has been awarded a Global Publishing Deal from Wiley Publishing (the largest business book publishers in the world) for his recent book, The Essential Entrepreneur. As a result, a “revised and extended” edition will be released in October and launched throughout Australia and NZ, Singapore and Asia, UK, Europe, Africa, USA and Canada. To test the market response, the first trial release immediately made the top 10 sellers list at Harry Hartog Bookshop at Burnside Village. This was one of the three independent trial stores that also included Dillon’s bookshop at Norwood and Mostly Books at Mitcham.
Richard and his family are onto their third $Billion startup, with his most recent venture ZEN Energy, a pioneer of the renewable energy sector, now the second largest Electricity Retailer to AGL in South Australia. A business that started in his children’s cubby house 18 years ago.
Essential Entrepreneur is written for anyone wanting to start or grow a business but no idea how or where to start. The book covers every aspect of the journey, and as Richard says “everyone deserves the opportunity to start a business and change their life”.
