The March quarter 2023 of the South Australian Business Chamber’s Survey of Business Expectations, powered by William Buck, is currently live and we are very grateful to all those who have completed it.

If you haven’t yet filled it out, please kindly do so, as a higher number of responses means more accurate data on the state of the South Australian and national economies. Our survey should take you approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Following the AFL’s announcement that South Australia will host Gather Round again in 2024, 2025 and 2026, the South Australian Business Chamber is pleased to share some preliminary data from our survey. We asked if the State Government’s focus on hosting large-scale events, such as the AFL Gather Round, is beneficial to business in South Australia. An overwhelming majority of respondents, 72%, responded positively.

In this edition of the survey we also ask supplementary questions on population growth in South Australia, whether your business has taken steps to improve cyber security, how your business is dealing with inflation, and volunteering in the workplace.

A friendly reminder that completing the survey means an entry into a randomized draw at the end, in which 12 lucky respondents will win a bottle of Seppeltsfield wine, personally delivered by members of the South Australian Business Chamber’s Policy and Advocacy team to thank you for providing the data which helps us to strengthen our positions when we advocate for the best possible business environment in our state.

The South Australian Business Chamber’s Survey of Business Expectations, powered by William Buck, is the longest-running in the state, now in its 43rd year. To complete the survey, please click here. You can also see the results from the December quarter 2022 survey here.
