This January, Adelaide Botanic Garden will transform into a twilight wonderland for Gather in the Garden, a vibrant series of Friday and Saturday evenings celebrating music, art, and nature.

Bring your picnic blankets and soak up the sounds of summer with live jazz and Latin bands, indulge in delicious bites from food trucks and refreshing drinks from the bar — all in a lush garden setting.

Wander through the stunning Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition in the rainforest filled Bicentennial Conservatory to explore jaw-dropping images that capture nature at its most dramatic, beautiful and raw — entry is free with your Gather in the Garden’ ticket.

Also enjoy free entry to the Tails from the Coasts exhibition, a captivating collection of 200 year-old watercolour paintings featuring fauna from Singapore and the Malay Peninsula. Discover this exquisite, free entry art in the magnificent Museum of Economic Botany in the heart of the Garden.

Elevate your evening with a Prohibition Liquor Co. Gin Masterclass, where you will be guided by one of Prohibition’s expert staff through a flight of gins, including the new, limited edition Wittunga Botanic Garden gin, with matching mixers and garnishes as you learn the process of gin distillation and recipe creation.

Gather in the Garden is the perfect way to celebrate summer, bringing together music, art, and nature in one magical setting. People love experiencing the garden after hours for special events, from last summer’s hugely popular Chihuly Nights to Illuminate Adelaide in winter. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy warm evenings surrounded by the beauty of the natural landscape.” Michael Harvey, Director, Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium
