With the ongoing high demand for building and construction, ensuring your people’s health and safety is more important than ever. The South Australian Business Chamber has teamed up with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) as an endorsed supplier of training programs for construction and building businesses, including HSR training.
The South Australian Business Chamber Training Manager Cindy Jackway said the partnership made sense with the construction industry being the State’s fifth largest employer, responsible for 70,200 jobs.
“Businesses can’t be complacent during busy times. Health and safety training is crucial, and businesses must do their due diligence to ensure their employees have the necessary training and skills.
“More than 4,000 South Australian businesses have trusted the South Australian Business Chamber to provide WHS training to their staff, and we have trained more than 7,000 HSRs.
“Over the past year, we have trained almost 2,000 participants in courses ranging from HSR, WHS, leadership, compliance, HR and workplace relations.”
As an approved CITB training provider, the South Australian Business Chamber can deliver discounted training programs on eligible courses to qualifying participants in the construction industry.
