Take the next step in your safety career with the nationally recognised Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety — eligible for Skills SA funding at a subsidised price $315.

Are you in a WHS role or a Health and Safey Representative? This 12-month online, self-paced qualification gives you the practical skills and legislative knowledge to become a trusted leader in workplace safety. With the flexibility to learn anywhere, anytime, and the support of a dedicated trainer, you’ll build capability in critical areas such as risk management, contractor compliance, safe systems of work, and psychological hazard awareness.

Delivered in partnership by the South Australian Business Chamber and the Institute of Training and Further Education, this program is the perfect way to upskill with confidence, backed by industry experts.

This training is funded by the Government of South Australia at a subsidised price $315.

The South Australia Government provides subsidised training under the Skills SA program. Training is subsidised where there is a demand for jobs in related industries. The Government contributes towards the cost of training which means eligible students will pay less for their training.

Eligibility

  • be an Australian citizen; OR b) a holder of a permanent visa; OR c) a New Zealand citizen; OR d) hold a state sponsored visa on a pathway to permanent residency.
  • live or work in South Australia
  • at least 16 years of age,
