Shop trading hours

Non-exempt stores within the Adelaide CBD will be allowed to trade until 6pm on Saturday 12th October to coincide with the events surrounding Adelaide Fashion Week, which runs from 11 – 13th October.

The exemption to the Shop Trading Hours Act 1977, which was requested by the Adelaide Economic Development Agency, has been granted for Fashion Week in previous years. As well as occurring so far in 2024 during the Adelaide Fringe and Gather Round.

Businesses should note that employees must voluntarily accept to work the additional trading hour.
