Nominations are now open for the ‘Teens in Business (TIB) Awards 2023’, an initiative that has been recognising the achievements of young entrepreneurs in Australia since 2021.
The awards showcase the remarkable efforts of young minds who are demonstrating creativity and contributing to their communities through their entrepreneurial ventures.
The primary goal of the Teens in Business Awards is to provide support and resources to young entrepreneurs. This includes industry feedback, knowledge sharing, and comprehensive support to help them expand their positive impact.
Last year, Luke from South Australia was recognised as the runner-up for the ‘Teenpreneur of the Year’ award.
Luke founded ‘Rusty Recycle Art by Luke,’ a business focused on reducing metal waste in landfills. To date, Luke has successfully saved over 5 tonnes of metal through his work.
He repurposes rusty recycled materials into unique garden sculptures, and his success is just one of many inspiring stories within the program.
The Teens in Business Awards are open to young people aged 10 to 18 and offer a substantial prize pool of $20,000 to support their entrepreneurial endeavours.
These awards aim to acknowledge the hard work of young entrepreneurs and the value they bring to their communities while providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
The program features nine award categories, seven for young entrepreneurs, and two for mentors and advocates of Entrepreneurial Education within schools and communities.
