As 2025 draws to a close — I feel that the timing of this year’s Adelaide Test has cut December trading in half for non-hospitality operators – I would like to extend my thanks on behalf of the staff and Board at the South Australian Business Chamber.

Whether you have connected with the Chamber through attending one of our networking events, calling for free advice from our helpline, undertaking a development program, participating in a WHS training session, sending an export order overseas, or completing a survey to inform our advocacy, it has been our pleasure serving you.

2026 will be our 187th year supporting SA business, and as an election year, it takes on greater significance for our advocacy work as we drive home the initiatives in our Charter26 in the lead up to polling day.

We cannot do this NFP work without a strong financial base, which is why the ongoing backing of our members through subscriptions and sponsorship remains critical for us.

Have a safe and happy festive season, and a very successful one for those who bank on this as a peak trading period each year.

I look forward to seeing you ready to go once again in 2026.
