Hunter Careers appoints Tilbrook Rasheed’s GM

Monday, June 27th 2022

For the past 12 years, the South Australian Business Chamber corporate member Hunter Careers has united talented and impactful people with enterprising businesses. In another opportunity for a powerful alignment, Founder Samantha Badcock was tasked with appointing Tilbrook Rasheed’s General Manager.

At this renowned accounting and business advisory firm, Samantha recognised the Partners invest heavily in developing the capacity of their people — an approach that gives Tilbrook Rasheed’s clients confidence and the ability to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities. The incoming GM would need to intrinsically share this mindset and rigorous focus on talent and development, being the person employees would feel well supported by.

The extensive executive search process led Samantha to Rasa Buckley, who is finishing up a successful three years as General Manager at AmCham SA to accept this opportunity.

Rasa has an outstanding reputation locally, nationally and abroad, and is someone that is skilled at bringing people together, thinking big picture, and executing on a plan,” Samantha said. I’m very excited to see what Rasa can achieve for my client; an already very well-respected brand locally and nationally.”

Samantha recognised something special about Tilbrook Rasheed while getting to know Partner Stephen Watts during a board appointment. She was then introduced to the rest of Tilbrook Rasheed’s Partnership Executive Team and saw an organisation that has grown organically by investing in talent. Tilbrook Rasheed is a 12-partner accounting practice, with 70 employees, and continues to build on their capacity.

Hunter Careers is also in talks with Tilbrook Rasheed about their culture review program, which helps organisations receive and leverage employer of choice status. The program, developed by Hunter Careers, breaks businesses down into cultural shapers by individually interviewing employees, bringing together information in an anonymous way, and presenting key findings and recommendations to support decisions at the executive level.
