Many small and family-owned businesses are feeling the financial strain, from seafood processors to local cafés, tourism ventures and coastal accommodation providers.

If your business has been directly impacted by the algal bloom — free, local, confidential and independent support is available for both regional and metropolitan coastal businesses through Rural Business Support’s (RBS) Small Business Financial Counselling Service.

Have your say about the algal bloom’s impact on your business

The SA Business Chamber represents coastal and broader affected businesses on the state government’s Algal Bloom Reference Group, which meets every 3 – 4 weeks.

If you have any feedback or suggestions regarding the government’s algal bloom response and support for business that you would like raised at the next reference group meeting, we’re keen to hear from you.
