Rob Chapman, a prominent South Australian business leader and former Chair of the South Australian Business Chamber, has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2025 Australia Day Honours announced this week.
Mr Chapman served as Chair of the South Australian Business Chamber from 2005 – 2009 and is being recognised for his service in the financial sector, in addition to Australian football, where he served as Chair of the Adelaide Crows Football Club for 11 years.
Currently, Mr. Chapman holds several key roles including Chair of Adelaide Airport, Chair of Barossa Valley water company Barossa Infrastructure, and Director of Coopers Brewery and Export Finance Australia.
He also serves as Executive Chair of Chapman Capital Partners, a corporate advisory firm based in Adelaide, which he co-founded in 2019.
Mr. Chapman has been a driving force in promoting major business and sporting events such as AFL Gather Round and LIV Golf, which have attracted substantial investment into South Australia.
The Chamber congratulates Mr. Chapman on receiving this well-deserved recognition.
