One of Australia’s most experienced hospitality professionals, Peter Morelli, has been appointed as venue manager at Coopers Brewery.

He will be responsible for the visitor experience at Coopers’ new $70 million development currently under construction at Regency Park.

Inducted into the Restaurant and Catering Association of Australia’s Hall of Fame in 2015 for his contribution and commitment to the hospitality and tourism industries, Peter brings a wealth of expertise and an impressive record at the helm of iconic venues.

Mr Morelli’s appointment comes as Coopers commences recruitment of 24 newly created positions at its Regency Park brewery.

Permanent and casual positions are up for grabs across front and back of house including roles for chefs, beer ambassadors, bar assistants and kitchen hands, as well as Head Chef, Sous Chef and Assistant Manager.

Mr Morelli says, I’m looking for passionate people who love a beer, enjoy interacting with others and want to be part of something truly special.

There’s a lot of excitement about what’s taking shape at Coopers Brewery. This is a rare opportunity to join a great South Australian family company and work in an iconic tourist attraction”, he said.

Anyone interested in joining Coopers can find information on the roles on their website or directly via Seek.

We’re looking to have our team ready to hit the ground running when the doors open to the public in August,” Mr Morelli added.

The Coopers Brewery development includes a restaurant and bar, dedicated tasting room, interactive history display, merchandise store and an expansive outdoor plaza dining area. A new microbrewery and whisky distillery are also being installed on site as part of the two-storey development.
