Last Thursday evening, 40 young South Australians were celebrated at the InDaily x City Mag 40 under 40 awards night.
At a fabulous ceremony at Adelaide Oval, entrepreneurs, business leaders, change-makers, and influencers were recognised for their outstanding contributions to South Australia.
The South Australian Business Chamber has long been a supporter of the 40under40 initiative. We know that these young changemakers will be the people driving our state in the future.
Jed Durdin, the South Australian Business Chamber ThirtyNiner, co-founder and co-CEO of Circular Energy Group was awarded the Community Corporate Social Impact Award, which recognises an individual who challenges conventional thinking by driving social innovation in a for-profit, social enterprise, NFP or through philanthropy.
Angela Alder-Price, the South Australian Business Chamber Member and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Orthopaedics SA was recognised for the Discovery Award for breaking down gender stereotypes and barriers, as the only female upper limb surgeon in South Australia.
Elena Kirschbaum, the South Australian Business Chamber Member and Co-director of Gluttony was recognised with the award for Inspiring Female Leader for her work with major Adelaide festivals including Fringe venue hub Gluttony, Lucky Dumpling Market, Light Up NYE and Base Camp.
Kristina Scutella, the South Australian Business Chamber Member and Co-founder, Director & Operations Manager of mumamoo was recognised with the award for Inspiring Future Leader, for her work as one of four female working directors at South Australia’s first infant formula company.
