Skilling South Australia is an initiative of the South Australian Government which is intended to help more people get skills and qualifications to build lasting careers and meet the workforce needs of industry now and into the future. The South Australia Government is investing $13.7 million into the skills system to deliver solutions to skills shortages and open new opportunities to connect South Australians to training.
Through our partnership with the Institute of Training & Further Education (“iTFE”), they are an approved Skilling South Australia supplier connecting the Government’s investment with participants in vocational education and training. Each subsidised qualification requires a co-contribution fee by the participant towards the remaining cost of the qualification before the commencement of training.
Eligibility requirements:
Participants may be eligible for subsidised training if they live or work in South Australia and:
• an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or
• a permanent Australian resident, or
• the holder of a visa with full work rights;
• aged 16 years or over and not enrolled at school
