Bullying, discrimination and harassment can happen in any workplace.
Are you up to date with the new Respect @ Work Bill? All organisations are legally obligated to manage the risks of bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment. Doing so enables organisations to foster a more harmonious and positive workplace culture.
This course has been designed to provide participants with an understanding of the laws outlining bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment at work. Employees will learn how to recognise these behaviours and most importantly learn what to do about them.
Topics covered
- Identify the types of harassment and discrimination that may be encountered at work
- Understand the difference between direct and indirect discrimination
- Learn what constitutes unlawful discrimination
- Learn steps to take when encountering discrimination in the workplace
