The South Australian Business Chamber Today

Upskill In Your Downtime With 80+ Online Training Courses

More than 80 new online training courses have been added to the South Australian Business Chamber’s online training platform to help you and your employees gain or enhance skills, so your workforce is better prepared to bounce back after COVID-19.

The short courses are specifically designed to be bite-sized and can be completed online anytime, anywhere. With many employees currently working remotely, access to online training has never been more convenient. Online training courses are more flexible, as you can choose the time and pace of learning.

The short courses cover a wide variety of topics that can help your business survive COVID-19 and thrive on the other side. Topics include improving leaderships skills and practical skills such as project management, business writing, writing proposals, digital transformation and many more. There is a suite of courses to support you and your employees working effectively from home, including cyber security and technology tips and tricks when working remotely.

While the South Australian Business Chamber has temporarily suspended our face-to-face training to align with the Government’s health and safety measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, we are now delivering our SafeWork SA approved Health and Safety Representative training programs in a simulated, facilitated online classroom. This is to meet the high demand for these programs, as the need for remote training grows while South Australians practice social distancing and employees work from home.

The South Australian Business Chamber Executive Director of Employer Solutions and Programs, Jenny Briggs, said now is a great time to invest time in upskilling and to embrace online learning given the ever-changing environment we are operating in.

If you are a business owner affected by the shutdown, the COVID-19 pandemic presents an opportunity to use this time to learn new skills or enhance existing skills that may benefit your business when the doors re-open,” Mrs Briggs said.

The South Australian Business Chamber’s short online courses have been developed by an award winning e‑learning provider, bringing you short online training courses delivering many in-demand skills needed by business right now.

We are also excited to be the first approved Health and Safety Representative training provider to make the full suite of Health and Safety Representative programs available in an online delivery format.”
