Thomas Foods International, one of South Australia’s most successful private businesses, has teamed up with Gaucho’s Argentinian, the state’s iconic Argentinian steakhouse, in a landmark partnership set to redefine local dining.

Under the partnership, Thomas Foods International will supply premium-quality meat to the restaurant’s celebrated menu including its global award-winning Angus Pure Grain Fed Range and their new Mt Schank Lamb.

Both premium beef and lamb products will now be available at Gaucho’s, as well as the Thomas Farms butcher shops at West Lakes and Norwood.

This collaboration brings together two proudly South Australian, family-led businesses with reputations built on quality, consistency, and legacy. While Thomas Foods exports to 85 countries globally, it remains deeply connected to its South Australian roots where the Thomas family still live and operate the business. Likewise, Gaucho’s, founded by brothers Joe and Tony Puntureri, has been setting the benchmark for premium steak dining in Australia for over three decades.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with Gaucho’s, an institution that shares our passion for provenance and quality,” said Darren Thomas, Managing Director of Thomas Foods. This partnership is more than supply; it’s a shared commitment to showcasing the best of South Australia, on the local stage.”

Under the culinary leadership of Head Chef Kareem Najjar, Gaucho’s will now feature Thomas Foods premium cuts on its menu, enhancing the restaurant’s already formidable reputation for steak excellence.

This partnership reflects our belief in sourcing the best produce from people who truly care about quality,” said Joe Puntureri. Thomas Foods is a brand we’ve always respected, and we’re proud to serve their product to our customers.”
