Start Your Own Business With the South Australian Business Chamber’s ENCORE Program

If you are ready to start your own business, or are in early stages of business, the South Australian Business Chamber’s 12-month ENCORE program will provide you with a business mentor and learning program to help your business succeed.

Applications for the July intake of this program are now open. Applicants must be at least 35 years of age to apply.

Participants will be allocated a dedicated business mentor who will guide them and their business venture.

Participants also attend monthly content-specific learning workshops delivered by subject matter experts, used to develop the practical knowledge and skills required to run a successful business.

Key program topics include:

  • Business Strategy
  • Business Planning
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Leadership and Human Resources
  • Taxation
  • Law
  • Media

The advantage of this program structure is in the participant’s ability to apply their learnings to their own business venture with the support of an experienced mentor.

At the completion of the program, you will have developed your business model, strategy and plan.

To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Demonstrate an intention to either establish a new business or grow an existing one
  • Be aged 35 or above
  • Reside in South Australia
