South Australian businesses are invited to connect with leading enterprises from Linyi City, Shandong Province, at the China (Linyi) – Australia Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference (Expo), hosted at the Hilton Adelaide on Thursday, 27 November 2025.
This event celebrates two key milestones in Australia – China relations — 40 years of the South Australia – Shandong Sister-State partnership and 10 years of friendship between the City of Salisbury and Linyi City. Both relationships have played an important role in driving trade, investment, and cultural exchange between our regions.
Linyi, located in southern Shandong Province, is recognised as one of China’s most active industrial and commercial centres. Known nationally as the “Wholesale Capital of China,” the city’s thriving markets and modern logistics networks make it a significant hub for trade, manufacturing, and international cooperation.
Hosted by the Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) in collaboration with the City of Salisbury, the Expo will showcase more than 14 leading Linyi enterprises across sectors including:
Building materials and construction technology
Prefabricated and modular housing
Agriculture and food production
Furniture and home goods
Logistics and cross-border e‑commerce
Industrial and agricultural equipment
For South Australian businesses, this is a unique opportunity to meet potential partners, explore cooperation, and discover new business opportunities — all without leaving Adelaide.
