New QR Code Requirements For Business

The South Australian Business Chamber Today — 3 February, 2022
The South Australian Business Chamber has received advice from SA Health that the general retail industry is no longer required to have COVID SAfe QR Check-ins at their premises.

But QR codes are still required for any place where a defined public activity is conducted under the Activities Direction.

Face masks remain a mandatory requirement for all indoor places, including the general retail industry.

Updated Frequently Asked Questions for businesses on QR Codes can be found on the COVID-19 website.

The changes to the Emergency Management (Activities — Associated Direction No 18) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 were announced by the Premier on Friday 28 January.
