Applications are open for the MMI Manufacturing Translation and Integration streams for businesses supporting the Medical Products National Manufacturing Priority area. This coincides with the publication of the industry led Medical Products National Manufacturing Priority road map.
This follows last week’s announcement regarding the MMI Manufacturing Translation and Integration streams opening for applications to support the Space sector. Rounds for other National Manufacturing Priority areas will progressively open over the coming weeks.
Applications for the Medical Products grant opportunities will close at 5.00pm AEDT on Monday 29 March 2021.
The Modern Manufacturing Initiative is a key plank of the Australian Government’s $1.5 billion Modern Manufacturing Strategy. Funding will help boost investment in the growth of the manufacturing sector, enhance Australia’s reputation, open up new markets, create new skilled jobs and increase exports.

Under the Manufacturing Translation and Integration Streams, the Australian Government is co-funding grants of between $1 million to $20 million, up to 50% of the eligible project expenditure.
