Michael’s parents originally started the business, but after stints overseas and interstate, he returned to at first help them grow before taking over running the show.
Why did he return? Lifestyle, Michael says, with only a 10-minute drive to and from work, a house by the beach at Encounter Lakes and beautiful views year-round. He loves living and working at Victor Harbor and helping other businesses, clubs, organisations and families in the Fleurieu region.
Shed Boss is growing at a rate of knots and now employs up to 20 people at a time, including sub-contractors. Michael has major plans for expansion at the industrial estate where his current warehouse is at Hindmarsh Valley, including adding more display sheds.
