For more than 20 years, SEAPA has been designing, manufacturing and supplying oyster farming equipment to the world. The Edwardstown-based business is a recognised leader in shellfish aquaculture technology producing more than 60 products, including its innovative oyster baskets.
SEAPA’s products have changed the nature of oyster farming in Australia by giving farmers more control over how their oysters grow and driving greater efficiency through technology, allowing farmers to produce better quality oysters at a lower cost.
SEAPA now has local offices in its major target markets of North Asia, Europe, and North America, with exports accounting for 70 per cent of its sales as the global demand for high-quality oysters grows.
SEAPA won the 2018 the South Australian Business Chamber Agribusiness Export Award and the coveted Exporter of the Year title at the 2018 Australian Export Awards.
