James Newcombe has been passionate about drawing and designs since he was a child, leading him to study architecture. He now runs his own architecture firm, JLN Designs in Adelaide’s west, specialising in residential buildings.
In the years between his school drawings and establishing himself in Adelaide, James spent several years living and working in Brisbane on anything from hospital design to apartment buildings and homes.
He decided to give his own business a go and moved home, where he has built up a steady base of clients. He works from a home office in Findon.
Like his ideal home design, he works where there is plenty of light and space.
