Hockey SA is the governing body for hockey in South Australia and exists to represent the state’s athletes and club members. Its goal is to promote, develop and administer hockey as a dynamic team sport enjoyed by athletes of all ages and skill levels. Hockey SA is focused on cultivating strong family and community ties. The organisation runs hockey competitions for athletes of all ages – from children aged nine and under to adults aged seventy and beyond. Hockey SA also provides sporting development programs from grass roots to elite levels. The organisation values good sportsmanship, inclusivity, transparency and excellence in leadership.
Many sporting and community organisations – from Hockey SA to the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Football Club – are the South Australian Business Chamber members and regularly use our services and training programs to help them grow, save money and prosper.
Hockey SA has found great value in its the South Australian Business Chamber membership, operating with their small team with select resources. Operations Manager, Nadine Hewson, says the organisation finds comfort knowing it is supported by the chamber through a range of business development and compliance initiatives.
