From banking to banners… Banners and Mash director Warren Woods has never looked back since starting his banner and signage business with David Lipman in 2010.
After coming up with the business name over – you guessed it – bangers and mash at a family barbecue, the former banker and his partner started the company with next to no customers.
Now the small business, which employs seven people, supplies its banners, signs and promotional products to companies throughout Australia in industries including sporting, retail and hospitality.
Warren says its wing and teardrop banners – the ones flapping in the wind on any major road on your commute to work — are its most popular products.
“They are a great way to promote your brand and attract attention, especially in the wind,” Warren says.
Banners and Mash also supply everything from pull-up banners to media walls and table covers, to a mash-up of promotional products including pens, mugs and apparel.
