The South Australian Business Chamber has been working to adapt to the pandemic by establishing innovative methods of service delivery to further support our members.
First and foremost our team has been strongly advocating on behalf of small businesses across the State, urging local governments to step up to the plate by providing additional support to the business community. This was a major theme present in the discussions that took place as part of our Virtual Summit series, which brought together 40 industry associations to better understand the impacts of the pandemic across multiple sectors. Key findings highlighted the need for additional support from local governments to aid SMEs and safeguard the State’s economy.
Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, we have acted quickly to roll out our Business Resilience Webinar series, which has seen hundreds of South Australians tune in to learn how to navigate the pandemic, maintain their mental health and administer the JobKeeper Payment scheme. Our next webinar will demystify all things digital as our team uncovers exactly how business owners can get started with Ecommerce, cost effectively. To register for the webinar click here. Recently, our team has been given authorisation by SafeWork SA for the first time in the organisation’s history to conduct all Health & Safety Representative training online. Other notable courses include our free online course on infectious disease awareness for both managers and employees. To learn more about all of our online courses, click here
Our team will continue working diligently to support the South Australian business community in the midst of this crisis. We are determined to help our members navigate this storm and come out the other side stronger and more resilient than ever.
