In the coming weeks, our SAYES and ENCORE programs for 2020 will end, with over 70 mentors concluding their time with course participants.
The South Australian Business Chamber program mentors are experts in their fields with a positive and encouraging demeanours, focused on dedicating their time and knowledge to up and coming business leaders.
Let’s face it, the legacies of business owners are becoming lost as a change of times means that fewer businesses are being passed on through families.
As an online world of ‘gurus’ and ‘business experts’ grows by the day, entrepreneurs are being exposed to huge amounts of information on the do’s and do nots of business, but this does not come close to the benefits of true one on one mentorship.
As experienced entrepreneurs, that have truly been there and done that, business owners have a wealth of knowledge that offers rewarding results if shared.
The South Australian Business Chamber is hoping to grow it’s already large network of 70 plus business mentors, looking for experienced business people to volunteer their time to assist the next generation of entrepreneurs through our SAYES, ENCORE and CULTIVATE Kangaroo Island programs.
In this light touch, high value position, successful mentor applicants will be matched with a program participant that is keen to succeed in a similar industry of the mentor’s expertise, with a monthly meeting to ensure their business plan is in progress, is all we ask as part of this program.
