With the immediate future remaining a little uncertain, now is the perfect time to take matters into your own hands. Starting your own business and embarking on an entrepreneurial journey can be daunting, especially for those that have previously opted for a traditional nine to five career path. If you have thought about launching your own business or scaling your existing business, the South Australian Business Chamber can help.
Encore is an entrepreneurial program for South Australians aged 35 or above looking to either establish a new business or grow an existing one. By attending monthly content specific workshops delivered by industry experts, participants learn how to develop a comprehensive business plan and a sustainable business model.
The key to the success of the program is the ongoing support from experienced mentors and industry leaders who provide monthly 1:1 mentoring sessions. Mentoring is backed up by workshops on a range of topics including powerful business models, financial management, business planning, leadership, HR, marketing, digital strategy, media and PR. Participants leave these programs armed with a comprehensive, fully-formed business plan, ready to successfully launch or scale their business.
Recent program graduate, Kate Campbell of Play Pouch Australia, was able to streamline her business processes to improve operational efficiency by taking part in the program. She says: “The ENCORE program gives new and established businesses a roadmap to reach their goals.”
