Failure To Act – Officers Fined Under WHS ACT

SafeWork SA have recently fined a company ($90,000) and an Officer ($21,000) for their failure to conduct meaningful hazard identification in the workplace, this failure led to a worker falling from a height and sustaining serious injuries that required hospitalisation and surgery.
