Face Mask Wearing In Businesses

The South Australian Business Chamber Today — Thursday 25 November, 2021

SA Health is reminding businesses about face-mask wearing for patrons and staff.

Face masks are a mandatory requirement for patrons and staff in an indoor public space.

And with the South Australian borders open to vaccinated people, it’s more important than ever that patrons and staff wear their masks because they provide an additional physical barrier to stop the spread of COVID-19.

There are circumstances where it might not be possible for someone to wear a face mask, including, but not limited to, a physical or mental health illness or condition, disability, or a person communicating with those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Please be respectful to others as reasons for not wearing a mask are not always obvious.

Please remind patrons and staff to wear their face mask while in your premises.

Visit SA Health’s website for more information about face mask wearing.
