The South Australian Business Chamber’s new Strengthening Business Facilitators hit the ground running this week supporting regional businesses impacted by the recent bushfires in SA. The new program will provide businesses with longer-term recovery advice and expertise to help them adapt and diversify their operations, systems and strategies so they can thrive into the future.
These services are available in specified local government areas with our newly formed team having strong local ties. Our facilitators will be working closely with local operators to assist in rebuilding regional business communities impacted by the Summer bushfires in in the Adelaide Hills, Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island areas.

Amanda Bridge — Adelaide Hills
Amanda is an Adelaide Hills local with a passion for the South Australian regions and small business. Her experience lies in business advisory and economic development services promoting growth for individual businesses and regions.
Having worked in small business, the corporate sector, industry bodies and government departments, Amanda has a breadth of experience to draw from. Amanda also has an extensive regional network and believes in collaboration to achieve effective outcomes.

Michael Bridge — Yorke Peninsula
Michael brings professional expertise in small business coaching and mentoring, project management and economic development. He has a diverse background across multiple industry sectors.
Michael is passionate about a systematic approach to business operations having been self-employed for many years and understanding the benefits of financial management systems and procedures, first-hand. He also has a proven track record in business management through identifying, planning and implementing strategic objectives, prioritising resources and streamlining business systems.
Michael also believes in getting the best out of people and is committed to helping others reach their full potential, particularly in business.

Sue Arlidge — Kangaroo Island
Sue has worked in business and economic development for the past 21 years across industries, having spent the last seven years working on Kangaroo Island. Sue is a strategic thinker, business mechanic, resource investigator and connector.
Sue’s strength lies in her ability to connect people and businesses to form strategic alliances and achieve positive outcomes. Sue has been working on the Kangaroo Island fire ground since mid-January, assisting businesses in their recovery. Sue is committed to developing organisational confidence as well as business capacity and capability on Kangaroo Island.
