Over many months, the South Australian Business Chamber (SABC) has communicated substantial industrial relations reforms, most recently around the Right to Disconnect, Casual Employment, Workplace Delegates Rights, Rights of Entry, Regulated Labour Hire Arrangements, Road Transport and Independent Contracting changes to name a few.

We appreciate the difficulty involved in digesting the sheer quantity of legislation passed by the Government in recent times.

In partnership with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we are therefore very pleased to be able to provide South Australian Business Chamber Members with a series of stand-alone Educational Guides on key Fair Work Act changes.

These Guides are designed to provide digestible information to assist employers and businesses in navigating workplace relations changes.

SABC is pleased to present our Members with the following Guides:

It is important to note that these Guides are for educational purposes only and do not contain advice. The sheer breadth of the changes means that the guides cannot provide guidance for all circumstances, and we will continue to provide individual factsheets and mini-guides on more specific issues, as they arise.

Employer Guides on the Right to Disconnect and Wage Theft will be released in the next couple of weeks. The Wage Theft Guide will be developed in advance of the commencement of the criminalisation of intentional underpayments on 1 January 2025.
