The guidelines for the State Government’s next round of “Powering Business” energy efficiency grants are now available.
The previous round of this grant program was heavily oversubscribed, so businesses are encouraged to get a head start on reviewing the eligibility criteria to avoid missing out once applications open.
The grants program is split into two streams – Solar and Battery Projects and Energy Efficiency Projects.
A total of $20 million is available in 2025 – 26, with grants ranging from $2,500 to $75,000 per eligible business.
In addition to this round expanding eligibility to medium businesses, the Chamber is very pleased to see consideration will also be given to applicants on embedded electricity networks and projects at new commercial premises that meet specific requirements.
To access the grant guidelines and register to be notified once applications are open, visit the Office of Small and Family Business website.
The Chamber’s Policy and Advocacy Team is always keen to hear if government initiatives are hitting the mark with SA businesses. If you have any feedback regarding this grants program, we would like to hear from you.
