Healthy Workplace Services Edit

In the fast-paced world of modern business, the importance of mental health in the workplace cannot be overstated. It’s not just about meeting deadlines and hitting targets; it’s about fostering an environment where employees can flourish, both personally and professionally.

That’s why Wellbeing SA is highlighting the three key pillars of mental health in the workplace — Protect, Promote and Respond.

Wellbeing SA has a number of resources to explain these three key pillars on the Healthy Workplaces website, where there are expert insights and practical tools that businesses can start using immediately.

In addition, a Healthy Workplaces Service has been designed to create custom resources to support businesses in creating a workplace environment and culture where people and business can both thrive.

To find out more about how to register for the Healthy Workplaces Service, call 08 8413 8299 or register here.

This is a joint initiative led by Wellbeing SA in partnership with the Office for Small and Family Business, ReturnToWorkSA, SafeWork SA and the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment.

The South Australian Business Chamber encourages businesses to familiarise themselves with these three key pillars and their psychosocial obligations in line with the new Work Health and Safety regulations that will impact all businesses.

To assist businesses in understanding these new requirements, the South Australian Business Chamber has developed a half day course for Leaders and Managers – Psychological Safety for Leaders.

This training will explore psychosocial hazards in the workplace, how to review existing hazard identification and risk management frameworks, and to determine whether all reasonably practicable steps are being taken to ensure a safe working environment.

Register for the course today and equip yourself with the tools needed to champion mental health in your organisation here.
