Cancer Council SA understands that Australians undergoing cancer treatment, cancer survivors and their families and friends may have questions in relation to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus. Cancer Council’s specially trained team can provide emotional support as well as practical tips for minimising the risk of infection during this time.
Centacare is a community based, not-for-profit organisation and has increased capacity to provide telephone support for mental health concerns, family stress due to job loss, social isolation and other challenges arising from the coronavirus pandemic. Centacare also has a free dedicated COVID-19 telephone counselling service that South Australian’s can call on 8215 6700 between 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
