The South Australian Business Chamber Launches New ‘Strengthening Business’ Services To Aid Bushfire Impacted SMEs

The South Australian Business Chamber’s new Strengthening Business’ services allows bushfire impacted businesses to access experienced business facilitators to aid in their recovery. The South Australian Business Chamber will provide these services to businesses located in the Adelaide Hills, Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island from 1 June 2020.

Our business facilitators will be working closely with bushfire impacted businesses across each region. These facilitators will provide access to financial and professional services and help eligible businesses develop a clear roadmap for recovery. Their focus will be helping businesses remain viable in the short term, while assisting them in establishing stronger frameworks, systems and strategies to safeguard them in the long-term. They will work directly with businesses and the community at no cost, to help rebuild and strengthen businesses by providing tailored advice and support ranging from systems and operations to marketing and sales.

The South Australian Business Chamber’s Strengthening Business’ services are available to businesses from any industry sector, regardless of annual turnover.

To be eligible a business must:

  • be located in bushfire impacted areas in South Australia: Adelaide Hills, Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island
  • be a small business impacted by the bushfires
  • have a current Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • be engaged in carrying on the small business at the time of the bushfire in the defined disaster area
