The South Australian Business Chamber hits the road to boost regional business

Thursday, April 14th 2022

South Australia’s peak business body will hit the road to Eyre Peninsula next week to help stimulate business growth. The Strength and Success Summit visits Port Lincoln on Wednesday, 20 April 2022.

The South Australian Business Chamber Chief Executive Martin Haese says that the tour aims to equip businesses in South Australia’s regions with practical tools and actions they can use to grow their business immediately.

We know many of our regional towns have benefitted from increases in intrastate visitation. However, businesses still face significant challenges such as skills shortages.

This event is an opportunity for local business owners and decision-makers to discuss their region’s issues. We will deliver an overview and tips on effective marketing to increase your sales, improve your staff’s wellbeing, and an update on the industrial relations landscape.

As part of the summit, the South Australian Business Chamber’s Policy and Advocacy team will share how the South Australian Business Chamber develops policy positions and advocates on your behalf. You will have the opportunity to discuss the big-ticket issues for the Eyre Peninsula and tell us what matters most for you and the business community so we get our advocacy right.”

Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Chair Sharni-Marie Barney says that the Eyre PeninsulaStrength and Success Summit is the result of a fantastic partnership with South Australian Business Chamber.

As the local chamber, we work closely with the South Australian Business Chamber, the state-level chamber, and through this partnership, we appreciate the knowledge and resources that we are able to access through them for our businesses here on the Eyre Peninsula. We believe it is important that we can provide feedback to the South Australian Business Chamber on the critical issues in our region.

The Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Tourism encourages local business owners to participate in the upcoming event and others that we will have a chance to collaborate with. It is an excellent opportunity for our friends at the South Australian Business Chamber to come out to the region, for you to meet them and for us all to connect again with each other and learn more that we can implement into our businesses. We think it is much better to have these events here on the Eyre Peninsula than to attend a webinar.

The more connected we are as a regional business network, and the more we can connect with partners across the state, the stronger we become. The Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is focused on doing as much as we can to facilitate this. Join us for the Strength and Success Summit on the 20th of April and align with this vision and take action around moving forward in your own business.”

The Strength and Success Summit is a free event for the South Australian Business Chamber members and $99 for non-members, including drinks and nibbles, held at the Port Lincoln Hotel, 1 Lincoln Highway.

Tickets are available here.
