Applications are open for the MMI Manufacturing Translation and Integration streams for businesses supporting the Food and Beverage National Manufacturing Priority area. This coincides with the publication of the Food and Beverage National Manufacturing Priority road map.
This follows recent announcements regarding the MMI Manufacturing Translation and Integration streams opening for applications to support the Space, Medical Products and Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Processing sectors. Rounds for the Recycling and Clean Energy and Defence National Manufacturing Priority areas will soon open for applications.
Applications for the Food and Beverage grant opportunities will close at 5.00pm AEST on Monday 27 April 2021.
The Modern Manufacturing Initiative is a key plank of the Australian Government’s $1.5 billion Modern Manufacturing Strategy. Funding will help boost investment in the growth of the manufacturing sector, enhance Australia’s reputation, open up new markets, create new skilled jobs and increase exports.

Under the Manufacturing Translation and Integration Streams, the Australian Government is co-funding grants of between $1 million to $20 million, up to 50% of the eligible project expenditure.
