It was an honour to receive a visit to the South Australian Business Chamber on Wednesday from His Excellency Vasyl Myroshnychenko, Ambassador of Ukraine in Australia. As a former businessperson, His Excellency shared with us that the Ukrainian economy has been profoundly impacted and fallen 45% since the commencement of hostilities.
Along with local members of the Ukrainian community, we discussed how our local, national and international Chambers of Commerce can assist those in Ukraine and support those who are settling in South Australia. Amongst all of the current hardship, His Excellency was still able to look to the future. The South Australian Business Chamber thanks His Excellency and members of the local Ukrainian community for their visit, camaraderie and for their strength.
