The National Wine Centre opened in October 2001, and has gone on to win many architectural awards for its use of natural light, metal and wood. From the rammed earth walls to the 150-year-old jarrah wood floors in Hickinbotham Hall, the Centre conveys a real sense of being in a winery or vineyard.
