The South Australian Business Chamber And The Property Council Of Australia Will Co-Host An Unmissable Business Event On 17 March 2017.

Premier Jay Weatherill And Leader Of The Opposition Steven Marshall Will Go Head-To-Head, One Year Out From The 2018 State Election.

Adelaide may have just played host to an epic battle between two sporting heavyweights, but there will be no time for the dust to settle as two new contenders enter the ring.

The South Australian Business Chamber and the Property Council of Australia will co-host a business event with the State’s two foremost political figureheads – Premier Jay Weatherill and Leader of the Opposition Steven Marshall – as keynote speakers at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 17 March 2017.

The South Australian business community is invited ringside to see the state’s political heavyweights go head-to-head as they discuss and debate the issues that matter most to the South Australian business community.
With the State Election fast approaching, this not-to-be-missed business event represents the opening round for what will be a lively and hard fought election campaign.

The South Australian Business Chamber represents businesses from all industry groups and employers of every size and type, and is a voice for all businesses in South Australia,” the South Australian Business Chamber Chief Executive, Nigel McBride, said today.

Partnering with the Property Council of Australia for an important event such as this gives the business community an opportunity to hear firsthand what the two major political parties in South Australia stand for – and what they will fight for.”

The property and business sectors in South Australia represent a significant cross section of this state’s economy, including jobs and prosperity for South Australians,” said SA Executive Director of the Property Council Daniel Gannon.

Electoral success for Mr Weatherill or Mr Marshall will hinge upon driving a policy platform that is unapologetically pro-business and pro-job creation. That’s what this state needs.”

Both Mr McBride and Mr Gannon said that at a time when South Australia was facing multiple challenges, it is imperative to understand both leaders’ policy platforms in order for the business community to confidently cast its votes this time next year.

The South Australian Business Chamber and the Property Council of Australia encourage all South Australian businesses to get in quick and secure their tables at this unmissable event.
