The South Australian Business Chamber, South Australia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and peak body for business has announced its ‘Vision for the State’ series in the lead up to the 2022 South Australian election.
On Friday 19 November 2021, the series kicks off with Opposition Leader Peter Malinauskas.
The South Australian Business Chamber Chief Executive Officer, Martin Haese says: “We know how important the right leadership is for the South Australian business community.
“Naturally the government has been occupied with the crisis at hand, however, with a state election looming the business community needs to know what all major parties will stand for.
“This will be the first opportunity for the Opposition Leader to speak to South Australia’s business community as the Opposition’s election campaign commences.
“As a former union leader, we’ve heard a lot from Mr Malinauskas from his previous ministerial portfolios including health, road safety, emergency services, police and correctional services and as the Leader of the Labor party in South Australia.
“This event this will be a vitally important opportunity to uncover the future for business in our state according to Peter Malinauskas.
“The South Australian Business Chamber recently released Charter22, the business community’s vision for the future of South Australia. This event series will now provide each potential future Premier the opportunity to respond to Charter22.
“We have extended an invitation to the Premier of South Australia for his own event and look forward to confirming these details in due course.”
This series is designed to explore what the South Australian business community can expect from the two major parties should they be victorious at the 2022 state election.
The South Australian Business Chamber is expecting the event to sell out. We encourage entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders to get in quick to secure their place via our website. Guests will enjoy a 2‑course luncheon with drinks included during the presentations, followed by an opportunity to be involved in a live Q&A session.
