The South Australian Business Chamber is holding a Webinar to ensure local business owners maintain a healthy and happy workforce during COVID-19 restrictions.
The Webinar will provide practical tips for business owners to help themselves and their workforce to ultimately thrive in the digital world.
“These are challenging times for the business community, both financially and mentally,” said the South Australian Business Chamber CEO, Martin Haese.
“COVID-19 is having an impact on the mental health of both employers and employees.
“As part of our new webinar series on Business Resilience, the South Australian Business Chamber has partnered with Employers Mutual Limited (EML) to support businesses experiencing significant uncertainty and hardship in the current environment.
“COVID-19 related closures have either sent many offices to work from home and others to Centrelink. These might be kitchen counters, dining tables and shared spaces with partners, children and even pets.
“This webinar will provide practical, actionable advice to help employers with the challenges of keeping their staff engaged, productive and connected while dealing with the challenges of working from home.”
The South Australian Business Chamber’s Maintaining a Healthy Mind in Your Workplace Webinar will help employers:
The Webinar will include presentations from experts including Professor Nicholas Procter of the University of South Australia — Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Research Group; Bianca Hawkins of EML — Mentally Healthy Workplace Consultant and Kylie Cocks of the South Australian Business Chamber — Healthy Worker Adviser.
The Maintaining a Healthy Mind in Your Workplace Webinar sponsored by Employers Mutual Limited (EML) is the second Business Resilience Webinar delivered by the South Australian Business Chamber to help local businesses navigate through the COVID-19 crisis. The first webinar attracted 1300 viewers and almost 2000 registrations.
The South Australian Business Chamber will roll out more webinars in this series over coming weeks to ensure local business can weather the COVID-19 economic storm and bounce back strongly.
The Maintaining a Healthy Mind in Your Workplace Webinar will be held Tuesday 7 April at 11am.
