Young entrepreneurs looking to skyrocket their business to new heights, but not sure how, are invited to attend a Ready to Launch’ event by South Australian Business Chamber.

Ready to Launch’ will provide start-ups and small business owners aged 18 – 35 with information about how the SAYES program can assist them to achieve their business goals.

The South Australian Business Chamber CEO, Martin Haese said the independent and local business body was looking for bright, young business owners with bold plans.

We’re looking for the disrupters, the risk takers and the big thinkers,” he said.

This year, more than ever, South Australia needs our brightest young business minds to show leadership through business innovation and creativity.”

Ready to Launch will feature key speakers with skin in the game to help put young entrepreneurs onto the path to success.

As part of the South Australian Business Chamber’s successful South Australian Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (SAYES) proudly supported by the Department for Innovation and Skills and powered by FIXE, the event will outline how SAYES has been helping young South Australians launch and grow their businesses over the past 21 years.

Attendees will hear from one of the SAYES mentors and previous participants who have gone onto achieve great success like mother of two and 30-year-old Pilates studio owner, Alex Morgan.

Minister for Innovation and Skills, David Pisoni, said Ready to Launch was an essential event to attend for any young entrepreneurs.

The Marshall Government is backing the SAYES program, with funding of $120,000 to assist the South Australian Business Chamber deliver the program, which is an excellent initiative supporting South Australia’s young entrepreneurs,” said Mr Pisoni.

The Marshall Liberal Government has a strong plan to grow our economy and start-up ecosystem, and the next generation of young entrepreneurs will be key to ensuring SA emerges with a renewed confidence out the other side of this COVID-19 pandemic.”

With the regional SAYES program returning in 2020, budding entrepreneurs from right across South Australia will be able to attend the event, which will be conducted in a hybrid’ format with both face-to-face and virtual attendance facilitated.

Ready to launch will be held at Stone and Chalk on Wednesday 30 September from 6pm-7pm. Registration is free.
